Indian Idol,

India’s biggest singing reality show is back!

The sixth season of Indian Idol 2012 is going to start from 1st June. Every season, tens of thousands of hopefuls from across the nation, audition for Indian Idol.

As with previous season, new Indian Idol 2012 is judged by

Bollywood playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan,

composer / singer Salim Merchant

and Anu Malik,

who has been a judge on the show since its launch in 2004.

Indian Idol 6 Hosts

Both Hussain Kuwajerwala

and Mini Mathur

are back together on Indian Idol 6 platform after a long break. They hosted the third season of Indian Idol together in 2007. That was Hussain’s first season and Mini’s third in a row.

But the following year,

Mini opted out of the show because of her pregnancy and Hussain was joined by season three contestant, Meiyang Chang. Now, after missing two seasons in a row, Mini is coming back on Indian Idol which kicks off in the second half of March.

Hussain has been away from TV for almost two years now, thanks to Broadway-style stage production, Zangoora at Delhi’s where he replaced Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi as lead character two years ago.
